YA ESTÁ AQUÍ LA EXPOSICIÓN FOTOGRÁFICA “LEVANTANDO UN FUTURO MEJOR” DEL FOTÓGRAFO PABLO LASAOSA. ¡VEN A VERLA!

Desde la comisión de Escuelas Solidarias os presentamos la EXPOSICIÓN FOTOGRÁFICA “LEVANTANDO UN FUTURO MEJOR” del Fotógrafo Pablo Lasaosa.

VICENTE FERRER trabajó incansablemente para erradicar la pobreza extrema en la India rural. Hoy en día, su labor se mantiene viva y nos ha dejado como legado un amplio programa de desarrollo que cubre más de tres mil aldeas y beneficia a unos tres millones de personas. La FVF trabaja para garantizar los derechos de las comunidades más desfavorecidas en el distrito de Anantapur.

Esta exposición quiere acercar la vida cotidiana de quienes levantan cada día un futuro mejor para ellos, sus familias y su comunidad. La filosofía de Vicente Ferrer recogía la necesidad de acompañarles en ese camino y el deseo de que fueran ellos mismos el motor de su desarrollo.

Las MUJERES son un pilar fundamental dentro de esta filosofía y emociona ver cómo a pesar de la discriminación que sufren, son capaces de avanzar, de ganarse el respeto, de lograr salir adelante dando muchos pasos pequeños pero importantes.

También gracias al camino abierto por la fundación, muchas PERSONAS DISCAPACITADAS consiguen sentir la dignidad que se les negó por el hecho de serlo. Es duro oírles contar que ahora les llaman por su nombre en lugar de por su discapacidad y conmueve verles realizando una actividad adaptada a sus capacidades y que les genera ingresos, autonomía y autoconfianza.

Además de los colectivos más desfavorecidos con los que se trabaja de forma más enfocada, el desarrollo que la Fundación Vicente Ferrer tiene como objetivo, se implanta en varios sectores: la vivienda, la sanidad, la educación y la ecología. En todos ellos se puede colaborar con proyectos concretos para LEVANTAR ENTRE TODOS UN FUTURO MEJOR.

From the committee of Solidarity Schools we present the photographic exhibition “Arising a better future” by photographer Pablo Lasaosa.

Vicente Ferrer worked tirelessly to eradicate extreme poverty in rural India. In our days its work is kept alive and he has left us, as a legacy, a comprehensive development program that covers more than three thousand villages and benefits about three million people. The FVF (Foundation Vicente Ferrer) works to guarantee the rights of the most disadvantaged communities in the Anantapur district.

This exhibition want to bring the daily lives of those who raise a better future for themselves, their families and their communities. Vicente Ferrer’ s philosophy reflected the need to accompany them on that path and the desire that they be the engine of their development.

Women are a fundamental pillar within this philosophy. It’s exciting to see that, despite the discrimination they suffer, they are able to move forward, to earn respect, to succeed by taking many small but important steps.

Also thanks to the path opened by the foundation many handicapped people manage to feel the dignity that they were denied for. It’s hard to hear them tell that they are now called by their names rather than their disability, and it’s moving to see them doing an activity tailored to their abilities that generates them income, autonomy and self-confidence.

In addition to the most disadvantaged groups with which this foundation works in a more focused way, the development that Vicente Ferrer foundation aims to do is implemented in several sectors: housing, health, education and ecology. In all of them you can collaborate with specific projects TO ARISE ALL TOGETHER A BETTER FUTURE.
