Estas dos semanas, en las sesiones de plástica, hemos estado dibujando una casa, pero no era tan simple como al principio pudiera parecer. Primero, observamos el modelo y después lo teníamos que reproducir exactamente igual en una hoja de mayor tamaño. Para eso, hemos usado el medidor de ángulos y una regla para que de esa manera dibujáramos la casa con precisión. Al principio nos ha costado un poco pero con la práctica ¡Han salido unas casas muy bonitas!
During this two weeks, in the art lessons, we have been painting a house, but it wasn’t easy. First of all, we checked the model and our aim was to reproduce it in a bigger paper exactly the same. To do it with precision, we have used the angle gauge and the ruler. At first, it was a little bit difficult but with practice, we have done a very beautiful houses!
Los alumnos de 5 años E estamos descubriendo el mundo del cine y hemos creado nuestro propio premio “Oscar” y nuestra alfombra roja de la fama para decorar nuestra clase. ¡Ya estamos preparados para ser unos buenos actores y actrices!
Boys and girls from “5 years-old E” class have been working on the cinema. They discovered lots of things and enjoyed this project by doing different activities; for example, they did their own “Hall of fame” on a red carpet and they created an “Oscar statuette photocall”. Now… We are ready to shine on the big screen!

Es una Exposición para aproximar a los diversos problemas que afectan a la Pachamama, Madre Tierra, así como la relación que tienen éstos con nuestra forma de vida. Se acompaña de un cuadernillo explicativo, así como de propuestas educativas adaptadas a los diferentes niveles.
¡Os animamos a entrar a conocerla y visitarla con vuestro alumnado!

From the Solidarity Schools Commission we will like to introduce the SOS EXHIBITION PACHAMAMA IN APUROS! of the NGO Madre Courage.
It is an interesting Exhibition to approximate the various problems that affect Pachamama, Mother Earth, as well as the relationship they have with our way of life. It is accompanied by an explanatory booklet, as well as educational proposals adapted to the different levels.
We encourage you to get to know it and visit it with your students! It is in the hall of the new building.

Como colofón a nuestro proyecto de Pamplona hemos visitado el centro de nuestra ciudad. Ha sido una visita interesantísima que ha convertido el soleado 3 de febrero en un lunes muy especial.
Hemos utilizado el transporte urbano para ir desde el colegio hasta la ciudadela. Una vez allí, lo primero pasearnos por el interior de las murallas y, a continuación, reponer fuerzas.
De la Ciudadela a la Plaza del Castillo pasando por Paseo Sarasate para, a continuación recorrer la universalmente conocida calle Estafeta y llegar hasta la Plaza de Toros. Después subimos hasta la Catedral, paseo por Caballo Blanco y bajada hasta el Ayuntamiento para admirar su preciosa fachada. Ya toca volver, ¡que pena! Se nos ha hecho una visita cortísima. De nuevo en villavesa desde Navas de Tolosa al cole.
Visit to the Pamplona Centre
As a climax to our Pamplona project we have visited the centre of our city. It has been a very interesting visit that has turned sunny February 3 into a very special Monday. We have used urban transport to go from school to the Citadel. Once there, we first stroll through the interior of the walls and then regain strength with a sandwich and water.
From the Citadel to the Castel Square passing through Sarasate Boulevard. Then, following the universally known Estafeta street we reached the Bullring. Later, we went up to the Cathedral and White Horse area where we admired the views of North Pamplona sourrondings. It was time to go down to the Town Hall so as to admire its beautiful facade. It was time to return, what a shame! We have had a very short visit. Again, by villavesa from Navas de Tolosa to school.

¡Los alumnos y las alumnas de 6ºE nos hemos vuelto unos expertos y expertas en geografía! Nuestros proyectos de ciencias se han basado en Navarra, España y Europa. Hemos investigado mucho a través de mapas, atlas, Internet etc.
En el proyecto sobre Navarra hemos creado diferentes juegos de mesa con las preguntas e información de todo lo que hemos ido aprendiendo: tradiciones, montañas, ríos, gastronomía, pueblos…Mientras que en el proyecto de Europa hemos creado una ruta de viaje a través de diferentes países europeos en el que detallábamos como viajar de un país a otro, qué ver, principales ciudades de cada país, cuánto son los costes, cuál es la comida típica de cada país…
Ha sido un proceso de aprendizaje muy significativo en el que todos y todas nos hemos involucrado y hemos disfrutado aprendiendo.
¡Al final de todo este proceso nos hemos vuelto unos expertos y expertas en crear rutas de viaje, así que, si estáis pensando en iros de viaje y no sabéis por donde empezar, os podemos echar una mano!
The students of 6ºE have become experts in geography! Our science projects have been based in Navarra, Spain and Europe. We have researched a lot through maps, atlases, Internet etc.
In the project on Navarra we have created different board games with the questions and information of everything we have been learning: traditions, mountains, rivers, gastronomy, villages … While in the European project we have created a travel route through different European countries in which we detailed how to travel from one country to another, what to see, main cities of each country, how much are the costs, what is the typical food of each country …
It has been a very significant learning process in which we have all got involved and enjoyed learning.
At the end of this whole process we have become experts in creating travel routes, so if you are thinking about going on a trip and you do not know where to start, we can help you out!

La temática de este año son las películas y los alumnos/as de 3º E.P nos disfrazamos de naipes basándonos en la película de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas. Para la elaboración del disfraz hemos utilizado cartulinas y papel dejando de un lado la utilización del plástico.
Next Friday the 21st we are going to celebrate Carnival. The topic of this year is “movies” and the students of 3rd level are going to dress up as playing cards based on Alice in Wonderland movie. For the elaboration of the costume we have used cardboard and paper, avoiding the use of plastic.

Durante el primer trimestre en la clase de 5 años C hemos estado inmersas en un proyecto sobre los perros. Hemos aprendido muchas cosas sobre los perros, pero sobretodo hemos hablado sobre los perros de ayuda. Nos pusimos en contacto con la fundación Biak Bat que tiene su sede en Altsasu y supimos que los perros que están en Altsasu están aprendiendo para poder ayudar a personas que lo necesitan. Sirven de guía a personas que no pueden ver, ayudan a personas que están en silla de ruedas, se relacionan con niñ@s y ancian@s… Son unos perros muy especiales y ayudan mucho a las personas.
Como estuvimos en contacto con la escuela Biak Bat y teníamos muchas ganas de conocer a los perros, finalmente vinieron de visita a Buztintxuri. Cake, Ivonne y Nipon vinieron a la escuela junto a Josune y Josu, y nos enseñaron las cosas que saben hacer. ¡Lo pasamos muy bien!
During the first term, in the C class of 5 years we have been learning about dogs.
We have discovered many things about them, being the most of the information about helping dogs.
We contacted the Biak Bat foundation that is based in Altsasu and we learned that their dogs are learning how to help people with different needs. They guide blind or low-vision people, help people wheel a wheelchair, interact with children and the elderly… They help people a lot.
We really wanted to meet the dogs. They finally came to visit us.
Cake, Ivonne and Nipon came to our school with Josune and Josu to show us the things they can do. We really enjoyed it!
