TALLER POSTURAL

POSTURAL WORKSHOP

The students of 4th year of Primary Education have participated in a postural workshop.

Doctors from the health center of Buztintxuri came to the school and explained that, to keep us healthy, in addition to eating properly and exercising, it is very important to maintain a correct posture. This way we will avoid having back problems.

During the workshop, we carried out different activities in which we had to detect the correct posture in different situations of our daily lives. In addition, they taught us some exercises we can do when we wake up to stretch our muscles and prepare them to start the day.

We found it a very interesting workshop in which we learned a lot. From now on we are sure that we are more aware of our body posture.

2ºD, 2ºE and 2ºF we have become interested in the very extreme situation that is being lived in Australia. We are investigating how to help the animals that lived there, especially the koalas, one of the main victims of the fires. In order to help these creatures, we first need to get to know them better. For this reason, we are reading and researching about these adorable animals.

THE FOUR-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN HAVE PLUNGED INTO THE WORLD OF BEES

During our investigation, a beautiful shape from the hive has caught our attention. It’s an hexagon!
Through experimentation and stamping we have created our own hexagons.
We’ve enjoyed a lot!

The school season started 4 months ago. It has passed one quarter. Nowadays it is january. We have started in the second quarter and we have learned a lot of things. The beginning was hard, the teachers, classmates, rooms, materials,… Were news and for some of us it was difficult, but slowly -slowly we are in a way to the success. This is the reason why we have started doing new activities and expeciences.

We are doing «Tailerrak»! We take advantage doing these excercises because we do in small groups. So, with few people we use the time that we need, our relationships, expressions and sensations are more free.

In our case, we have two «tailer»: We go to «Volswagen tailer» every wednesday and we visit «tailer sentsoriala»on fridays.

In the first one, we can find pieces of cars which they dont use in the factory with the same name. They are very significant for us, because they are real and we have a lot of options to create constructions.

In the second one, they are elements with different textures, materials, shapes and sizes. This «tailer» give us the opportunity to be open minded. It is related with senses and feelings.

We add some photos to show you how we enjoy in our «tailer sensorial».

The new year and the second term have brought us great news in 1st of Primary. From January the 13th and every following Monday of the course … We also have bread for snack!!

So far, we have had fruit for snack and we loved it, but we have welcomed the incorporation of bread. In addition, we continue to expand and strengthen our autonomy, since, to take the bread, the kids in charge of the snack that day have to go downstairs to pick the bread up and register it.

Also, when we go to the supermarket, we will have to think and add ingredients to accompany the bread. Of course, we will try to contain as little sugar as possible to be beneficial for our health!

OUR SCHOOL’S PINTXO COMPETITION!!

Our 4th grade students have participated  in the Pintxos competition of our school. For several days we were thinking, in groups, what pintxo we were going to make and what materials we were going to need.

We had a lot of ideas and we also invented so many funny names for our pintxos.

The day of the competition we worked hard and we did our best.

Our pintxo’s names were: «Tacotorti», «Las escobas comestibles», «Los minicocos», «El pintxo del Olentzero» and «El pintxo colorido».

Finally, we decided that the one that was going to represent our classroom must be » Las escobas comestibles» and, eventhough we didn’t win the competition, we really had a great time!!
