El miércoles, 6 de noviembre, el alumnado de 2º D, E y F de primaria recibieron una charla informativa sobre el compost por parte de la Mancomunidad de Pamplona.

Durante la explicación, nos informaron sobre qué es el compost, sus principales usos y como puede obtenerse. Además, nos dieron consejos útiles para mantener los compostadores del centro al mayor rendimiento posible, teniendo en cuenta los restos vertidos, la temperatura, el oxígeno o el agua que reciben.

Por último, pusimos en práctica lo aprendido.

Last Wednesday, pupils from second level (2ºD, E and F) received an informative talk from a Mancomunidad de Pamplona worker.

During the explanation we learned what compost is, what its main uses are and how it is obtained. In addition, he gave us useful tips to keep the school’s composters at the highest possible performance; taking into account the dumping waste, the temperature, oxygen or water they receive.

Finally, we put into practice what we learned.

CAMPAMENTO OLLO

La semana pasada el alumnado de 2º D, E y F fuimos al Campamento de Ollo.

Estuvimos dos días disfrutando de una bonita experiencia en la granja donde pudimos conocer muchas cosas sobre diferentes animales como: el cerdo (autóctono), los conejos, las cabras, los caballos… Además de conocerlos pudimos darles de comer, tocarlos…

Hicimos una excursión al bosque y estuvimos haciendo diferentes juegos y actividades para conocer mejor la Naturaleza, su riqueza y conservación. También fue una oportunidad para conocer las propiedades de diferentes plantas, recolectarlas y hacer con ellas una crema medicinal.

Tuvimos tiempo para jugar, divertirnos, bailar y pasar tiempo con todos los compañeros del nivel. Ha sido una experiencia para recomendar.

Last week, the pupils from second level (2o D, 2o E, 2o F) went to Ollo camp. We spent two fantastic days in the farm where we learnt a lot of things about different animals: pigs, rabbits, goats, horses…etc. We even had the opportunity to feed and touch them…

We went hiking into the forest and we played many games in order to learn how to take care of the nature. We also collected several plants and, after learning about their properties, we made a medical cream. We had time to play, dance…and, in general, to have fun and spent time with our classmates. It was a great experience and we really recommend it!
