Urte berriari hasiera emateko, OCSIri eta Elkartasun Eskola Sarea formakuntza programari esker,urtarrilak 9an eta 10rean, egun bakoitzean, hiru orduz , formakuntza berezia jaso dugu, beste ikastetxeko irakaslegoarekin batera eta Yolanda Domínguez artistaren eskutik.

Lehenengo egunean, bere ibilbide pertsonala, izandako aprendizaia eta horrekin batera,egindako ekintzak transmititu zizkigun.

Arte konzeptuan eta istorioaren zehar izandako aldaketetan, gaur egun arte, murgildu ginen. Helarazteko ideiak, sentimenduak, kritika egiteko, …. komunikabide erraldoia da eta momentu honetan, digital munduan esparru anitzak ( Whassapa, Facebooka, blogak, tuits,Youtubea, …) eta ikaragarriak zabaltzen dira.

Gaur egun gure gizartean sortu diren arazo asko hauetaz komunikabideen arduraz hitz egin zuen eta egoera larrien normalizazioaz, adibidez, gure gizartean eta momento honetan izaten ari diren indarkeria eta matxismoa. Horregatik, DESKONTEXTUALIZAZIOAN eta UMOREZ egindako KRITIKAN, hauen garrantzia azpimarratu egin zuen, ARTE KONPROMETITUA ETA KRITIKA ZUZENA, benetako gakoak direlako, gizartean zirrara sortarazteko eta poliki poliki ERALDATZEKO , baina beti ere, proposamen eraikitzaileen bidez. Egindako ekintza internazioala edo birala egitearena, azpimarratu zuen, ahalik eta pertsona gehienetara ailegatzea da helburua. Irudiak harrigarriak erabiltzea, testurik gabe,gure arreta deitzeko, funtsezkoa da.Mundu azkar batean mugitzen garelako eta lehenengo inpresioek, gugan,eragin ikaragarria izan behar dutelako. Nori zuzenduta dagoen ere oso garrantzitsua da.

During the first day she gave us a brief overview of her career, her learning trajectory along with concrete teaching tasks she had undertaken. We also thought about the idea of art, and about its transformation throughout history. We agreed that it is a great way of communicating ideas, feelings and criticism and that nowadays this can be disseminated through a vast array of digital formats such as WhatsApp, Facebook, blogs, tweets, YouTube and so on.

She spoke about the responsibility of these media for many of our social problems such as the normalization of many serious situations of which random violence and misogyny would be two. For this reason, she insisted on the importance of the technique of decontextualization and of the figure of the critic with sense of humour. Those are keys for developing art that is engaged and critical, and that can impact on society and transform it little by little with constructive proposals. As she stressed, it is very important that the concrete action or artistic event become viral and international so as to reach as many people as possible. Therefore, it is important to use shocking images, without text, which can grab our attention given that we are accustomed to living in a fast world of first impressions. In short, it is essential to think about the consumers of our art.

In the second session we went over the types of art that have come to the fore over the twentieth and twenty-first centuries (Context Art, Relational Art, Activism, etc.). It was suggested that, over this time, art has become steadily less passive and more participatory as, nowadays, it integrates itself more into real life and attempts to have more of a social and political impact. Now we visualize artists and actions or proposals which work from a horizontal perspective in society. It is an art that does not represent, but present: it is the experience itself.

As an artist, Yolanda approaches her work from the perspective of gender and from this standpoint, she has undertaken campaigns and created proposals that are very visible, yet also bother, annoy or can cause disquiet.
Finally, she gave us some interesting guidelines on how to undertake artistic acts, such as: not being invasive, intrusive or offensive for the sake of it or creating work that uses very visual elements and is flexible, simple, easy to understand and reproduce. We put some of those ideas into practice in small groups and then shared our work with our companions, reflecting and commenting on what we and others had done. By so doing we felt more encouraged to incorporate these practices into our daily work.
It has been an intense and very interesting course in the sense that it has stirred our consciences, encouraged and enriched the critical spirit of the teaching staff and thus empowered us to relay the same experience to our students. It has been a breath of fresh air, which has given us creative and social energy. Indeed, sharing this experience with other centres and in small groups has been very rewarding.
